1. Integrity and Sportsmanship 

• All members are expected to compete in accordance with the Rules of Golf and uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity. 

• Scores must be accurate, complete, and properly attested. 

• Unsportsmanlike conduct, intentional rule violations, or handicap manipulation will not be tolerated.

• Members must respect fellow competitors, host courses, staff, and tour officials at all times. 

• The CGT Handicap Committee reserves the right to review and adjust handicaps when deemed necessary. 

2. Handicap Compliance 

• A verified handicap is required during official registration. 

• Accepted providers include CDGA/USGA, Grint, 18 Birdies, and other recognized platforms. 

• Internal CGT handicaps are calculated using the following formula: USGA or Provider Handicap plus 80 percent of CGT Tournament Handicap, divided by two. 

• Failure to post rounds or provide accurate handicap information may result in disqualification

3. Score Attestation Requirements

• Each round must be played with at least one other registered CGT member.

• Digital score submissions and physical scorecard uploads are required.

• Majors and playoff events require playing with a new attester. 

• Scores must be submitted within the official two week event window.

• All scores are final once the event window has closed. 

4. Event Participation 

• Members may participate in as many or as few events as their schedule allows.

• A minimum of six completed events is required to qualify for playoffs.

• Points are awarded based on event completion. 

• Missed events cannot be made up after the event window closes. 

5. Pace of Play 

• All flights must utilize the Local Rule for Stroke and Distance or Lost Ball.

• Players are expected to maintain proper pace in accordance with host course standards.

• Repeated pace of play violations may result in penalties or disqualification. 

6. Conduct on the Course 

• Members must adhere to all host course rules and dress codes. 

• Abusive language, cheating, intimidation, or disruptive behavior is prohibited.

• Violations may result in suspension or removal without refund. 

7. Financial and Membership Policies 

• Membership fees are non refundable once registration closes. 

• Green fees are the responsibility of each member. 

• Payouts are distributed via digital Visa gift cards. 

• Early Bird discounts apply only during the official promotional window.

8. Eligibility 

• Participants must be sixteen years of age or older. 

• Members may elect to maintain amateur status or compete as non amateurs during registration. 

• Designated tees are available for seniors 55 and older, 60 and older, and optional senior tees for C, D, and E Flights. 

9. Community Standards 

• The CGT Slack Network and digital platforms are considered extensions of the tour.

• Members must communicate respectfully and refrain from harassment or inappropriate content.

• Tour communication platforms are to be used for tour related matters. 

10. Tour Authority 

• The Chicago Golf Tour reserves the right to review rulings and disputes.

• The tour may adjust handicaps, flights, or payout structures based on participation.

• The tour reserves the right to remove members who violate these standards.

• All decisions by the Handicap Committee and Tour Directors are final.
