In 1982 the Village of Bartlett committed to a complete renovation of the facility that included the addition and reshaping of bunkers, a new practice range complete with grass tees and a short game area, and the addition of state of the art irrigation system. A conversion to bent grass fairways and the redesign’s of greens #1, 3, 4 and 5 were completed in the fall of 2002 making Bartlett Hills one of the finest golf courses in the area.

Randall Oaks, located at the intersection of Randall and Binnie Roads in West Dundee, is an 18-hole championship golf course that offers an unrivaled level of service and is perfect for every level of golfer. Known for its lightning-quick greens and large oak trees, Randall Oaks is a must for anyone looking for a round of golf that will challenge them from tee to green.

Formerly Oak Meadows Golf Course, The Preserve at Oak Meadows reopened in 2017 with a new name and following extensive renovations over a two-year span. Formerly a 27-hole layout on 288 acres, the transformation was a conservation and recreation project by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County that took the 1920s-era design and modernized it for drainage and environmental sensitivity. From a playability standpoint, conditions will be more durable in the face of flooding, while eco-friendly highlights include improved water quality within Salt Creek, increased local flood relief by 20 million gallons and the enhancement of an environmental refuge for both golfers and wildlife.

Situated just west of Chicago, Prairie Landing is a links-style layout with rolling fairways, meandering creeks and large, undulating greens. With water in play on many holes, the course can be challenging off the tee.

The centerpiece of a premier, 616-acre residential country-club community in Elgin (Kane County), Bowes Creek Golf Course is an 18-hole public course designed by award-winning architect Rick Jacobson. The environmentally planned golf course integrates all the natural elements the native landscape has to offer, including Bowes Creek, improved woodland and wetland areas, a lake, rolling farmland, stands of mature trees and scenic bluff slopes, to create an aesthetically pleasing, playable and challenging course. The rustic setting features expansive fairways and sweeping bunkers with fingers of grass drifting into the sand and fescue grasses edging the bunker faces. The course has five sets of tees for each hole and distances ranging from 6,900 yards to 5,100 yards to accommodate the dramatically different skill and experience levels of golfers.

The Woodside course offers a variety of shots played through the most dense woods on the course. It offers two risk/reward par 5s, a par 3 of 200 plus yards and the other par 3 of 160-170 yards to a green completely surrounded by water. The variety of shots force you to use different clubs from your bag to hit the ball straight.

Lakeside is appropriately named with four different lakes that come into play on six different holes. A 320-yard risk/reward Par 4 and 510 yard downhill Par 5 makes this nine-hole course tempting, but warning: danger lurks ahead if your shots aren't accurate!

Renowned architect Greg Martin designed this spectacular 18-hole championship course. The par 71, links-style course offers 6,828 yards of challenges, as well as satisfaction. It features two distinct "nines:" The front nine holes play through the lower area of the property, winding their way through wetlands and water. The back nine holes play along a ridge, offering a variety of elevations and striking views of the surrounding countryside.

The Highlands of Elgin has become a premier destination for thousands of golfers throughout the region. Nine new holes reclaim an old stone quarry, and take maximum advantage of the unique and dramatic landforms that were left behind, including a twelve acre quarry lake. Four holes hug the top of the bluff thirty to forty feet above the water providing golfers with incredible views and numerous shot options on each hole. The original nine holes flow over beautiful rolling terrain, creating a diverse collection of holes.

Blackstone Golf Club is Both a Thrilling Challenge and a Classic Masterpiece that Every Golfer Will Admire and Appreciate

Featuring over 26 acres of environmentally protected wetlands, the lush bentgrass fairways and greens of Blackstone Golf Club meander through some of the most distinctive natural landscape of any course in the Chicagoland area. And although it can stretch out to a total of 6,727 yards, Blackstone features 4 sets of tees to suit golfers of all skill levels and plays to a very manageable 4,893 yards at its shortest.

The seasoned golfer will find challenge in avoiding the 54 sand bunkers that designer Bob Lohmann calls “strategically placed” and “pretty bold with… irregular edges,” while the more novice golfer will enjoy the spectacular visual setting with generous fairways. With 9 holes stretching through dense forests of Oak and Hickory and unique, enthralling wetlands coming into play on 13 holes, the views are as beautiful as the course is demanding!

The 18 hole course at the Village Links of Glen Ellyn is a real gem and wonderfully maintained. The property offers excellent practice facilities with a huge grass-tee driving range, numerous greens, and a short game practice area. At 7200+ yards, the course is as challenging as you'd like it to be, with a stout 74.9 course rating from the tips. Choose your tee box wisely. Water is in play on 14 holes, and bunkers are ubiquitous. The greens are generally large, but roll fast and can be deceiving to the naked eye. The entire course was renovated in 2004 by the son of the original architect, adding bentgrass greens and fairways. Village Links has hosted 25 Western Open qualifiers and 5 US Open Sectional Qualifiers.
